May you Be Happy (pt 2)

Restorative yoga is one of the best ways I know to calm and settle my nervous system. This practice reminds me that I can't possibly be in "drive" and "overdrive" modes all the time - it's not sustainable.
Pausing and consciously resting into the support of the earth or a chair - even for a few minutes - helps me to connect with my breath, connect with myself - it shifts me. That shift invariably allows me to move back to being a better version of me - the one I really want to be in this world - the one that is present, a bit more patient, less rigid and more in the flow.
Couple that with the heart-opening practice of Loving-kindness meditation, and you've got yourself a great recipe for cultivating a sense of deep care and connection to yourself and those around you.
Here's a restorative yoga and loving-kindness practice designed to help us rest deeply and care for ourselves. I hope you enjoy practicing with it!
Check out my classes here and let's move together!
