Feeling anxious? Try this!

Sweaty palms, shallow breathing, heart pounding, mind racing, stomach churning…
We’ve all been there at one time or another.Â
Occasional feelings of anxiety are one way stress can show up.Â
The difference is when we are in a chronic state of stress we might be responding to our current situation at hand. When we are navigating occasional anxiety, while some of the symptoms may be similar, the reaction is to something we are anticipating - we are no longer connected to the present moment, but rather ruminating about the future.
Feeling anxious, like we might feel when we have an upcoming work presentation or when we have an important life decision to make is real and a part of life, but it doesn't have to rule us.
Here are some tools to help us manage those occasional anxious feelings.
