Yoga Offerings

Hi! Let’s take a deep breath and figure out a way to help you relieve tension and stress and tap into the best version of you!

You can practice yoga with me in a variety of settings:

Group Yoga Classes:

Monday

Beginners Yoga: 6-7:15pm
8 week course through the Northampton Recreation Department

End your day on a yoga high, leaving tension and stress behind! This course is designed for folks who are new to yoga or want to get back to basics. We’ll explore a variety of basic yoga poses, including standing poses to build strength, back bends, twists, and forward bends to maintain flexibility. Throughout each class we’ll discover how to align our bodies safely in the poses and how to move our body with the rhythm of our breath. Breathing and meditation techniques will also be explored to help quiet our minds and relax more deeply. If you want to gain a deeper understanding of the yoga practice, experience more ease and balance in your life, and have fun while you do it, this is the course for you.

  • Next 8 week course runs February 10 - April 6  (no class 2/17)

Wednesday

Yoga Bliss Stress Buster Yoga Course

Stay tuned for more information on the return of this course.

Enjoy 60 minutes - just for you -  to stretch, breathe, and meditate so you can relieve all the physical and mental tension that binds you and come back to feeling centered and balanced.  Advance registration required.

Thursday

Slow Flow: 9:15-10:25am, Hampshire YMCA, 286 Prospect St, Northampton, MA
In this open-level, alignment-based Vinyasa yoga class, participants will experiment with a variety of yoga poses, including standing, arm balances, inversions and backbends. Learning safe and skillful body alignment will be a key focus as participants explore how the body and breath move together. Yoga teachings are woven in to find ways to take individuals’ yoga practices off the mat and into daily life.

  • YMCA membership or day pass required.

Friday

Gentle/Restorative Yoga: 5:30-7pm, Yoga Sanctuary, 150 Main St, Northampton, MA (3rd Floor of Thornes Marketplace)

This class includes gentle yoga poses and stretches as well as supported, reclining restorative yoga poses to help the body and mind relax, de-stress and center.

Private and Semi-Private Yoga Sessions:

 

I love teaching private yoga sessions! I love building and deepening the relationships I have with the folks who work with me privately; I love holding the space for them to come to the practice as they are and supporting them as they explore what they need in that moment; I love seeing them fully engaged in their practice. It’s a really fun and exciting way to work together.

Here are some of the benefits of working privately with me:

  • Each session is designed specifically for you – to meet your needs on any given day, so you get the practice you need the most, be it a more active, strength-building practice or a soothing, meditative restorative yoga practice.
  • You get my full, undivided attention.
  • You get to work on the things you’d like to work on, or feel like you need to work on.
  • You get more detailed, specific alignment.
  • You get more of your questions answered, where you may not be able to in a group setting.
  • You can work on or toward a particular pose or aspect of the practice that is challenging or intriguing to you.
  • If you are working with a minor injury or challenge, we can work at your pace and come up with modifications to support you more fully.
  • You can even work on creating your own home practice.
  • If it’s challenging to consistently attend a group class, then you have this regularly scheduled session – a date just for you and your practice.

How and Where We Will Work Together:

  • I see clients at 2 locations.
    • One is in Northampton, the other is in Easthampton.  Both locations offer us a full array of yoga props.
  • Private yoga sessions are 60 minutes long.
  • Weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly sessions are available.
  • Multi-session packages are available to folks who would like to study weekly or bi-weekly.
  • As space allows in my schedule, I could even see you on an as-needed basis.

Single Private session: $90
5 session pack: $425
10 session pack: $800

Single Semi-Private Session (no more than 3 people): $120/hour
5 session pack: $575
10 session pack: $1100

Package rates are only available when paid for in advance. Private sessions are non-transferable. If you need to cancel a session, please do so 24 hours in advance or  you will be charged for the session/it will be deducted from your package. Thank you so much!

Corporate Yoga classes:

Help your employees and co-workers better manage tension and stress by bringing yoga classes to your workplace. On-site yoga classes are an affordable way to help your employees feel better and more productive as they give them time during the day to stretch and strengthen their bodies in a healthy, safe and restful way. They can also build collaborative relationships as they allow employees to have fun while working toward a common goal. Yoga classes can be held in conference rooms, lunch rooms, or any large open space.

Classes can be designed from 45 minute to 90 minute sessions to accommodate your employees’ schedules.

Prices range from $55-$85/session depending on the length of the session.
