Yoga Offerings

Hi! Let’s take a deep breath and figure out a way to help you relieve tension and stress and tap into the best version of you!

You can practice yoga with me in a variety of settings:

Group Yoga Classes:

Monday

Beginners Yoga: 6-7pm
8 week course through the Northampton Recreation Department

End your day on a yoga high, leaving tension and stress behind! This course is designed for folks who are new to yoga or want to get back to basics. We’ll explore a variety of basic yoga poses, including standing poses to build strength, back bends, twists, and forward bends to maintain flexibility. Throughout each class we’ll discover how to align our bodies safely in the poses and how to move our body with the rhythm of our breath. Breathing and meditation techniques will also be explored to help quiet our minds and relax more deeply. If you want to gain a deeper understanding of the yoga practice, experience more ease and balance in your life, and have fun while you do it, this is the course for you.

Wednesday

Yoga Bliss Stress Buster Yoga Course

Stay tuned for more information on the return of this course.

Enjoy 60 minutes - just for you -  to stretch, breathe, and meditate so you can relieve all the physical and mental tension that binds you and come back to feeling centered and balanced.  Advance registration required.

Thursday

Bliss Flow: 9:15-10:15am, Hampshire YMCA, 286 Prospect St, Northampton, MA
In this open-level, alignment-based Vinyasa yoga class, participants will experiment with a variety of yoga poses, including standing, arm balances, inversions and backbends. Learning safe and skillful body alignment will be a key focus as participants explore how the body and breath move together. Yoga teachings are woven in to find ways to take individuals’ yoga practices off the mat and into daily life.

  • YMCA membership or day pass required.

Strong Flow: 12-1pm, Yoga Sanctuary, 150 Main St., Northampton, MA (3rd Floor of Thornes Marketplace)

A dynamic, athletic yoga practice that synchronizes breath with a continuous flow of postures.

Gentle/Restorative Yoga: 5:30-7pm, Yoga Sanctuary, 150 Main St, Northampton, MA (3rd Floor of Thornes Marketplace)

This class includes gentle yoga poses and stretches as well as supported, reclining restorative yoga poses to help the body and mind relax, de-stress and center.

Corporate Yoga classes:

Help your employees and co-workers better manage tension and stress by bringing yoga classes to your workplace. On-site yoga classes are an affordable way to help your employees feel better and more productive as they give them time during the day to stretch and strengthen their bodies in a healthy, safe and restful way. They can also build collaborative relationships as they allow employees to have fun while working toward a common goal. Yoga classes can be held in conference rooms, lunch rooms, or any large open space.

Classes can be designed from 45 minute to 90 minute sessions to accommodate your employees’ schedules.

Prices range from $55-$85/session depending on the length of the session.

Private and Semi-Private Restorative Yoga Sessions:

Private restorative yoga sessions are a great way to hone in and relieve the tension and stress we carry around with us. They also offer a safe and supportive environment if you are working through an injury, or are experiencing a chronic condition like anxiety or depression, or even fertility issues. Private restorative yoga sessions are designed to fit your needs. Here you will get the one on one attention to work safely while you heal.

Private and Semi-private Restorative Yoga sessions are 1 hour long

Single Private session: $90
5 session pack: $425
10 session pack: $800

Single Semi-Private Session (no more than 3 people): $120/hour
5 session pack: $575
10 session pack: $1100

Package rates are only available when paid for in advance. Private sessions are non-transferable. If you need to cancel a session, please do so 24 hours in advance, or the session will be deducted from your package
